Outside and Garden Photos

We have a pair of beautiful stained glass windows located on the north wall of the church.

The central point of our garden is the statue of Christ.  It was imported from Italy in the 1950's.

Additional views of the statue in the southeast corner of the garden.

Here we see more views of our garden.  The north entrance gate at the bottom left.  The central path circling the area and two visitors admiring the statue of Christ and the water fall and pool.

Various plantings that surround the pool and statue.

The walkway on the east side leading to the pond and statue.

The wall on the west side (shown above) as well as the north side contains plaques that provide scriptural messages for the visitor.

Several of the plaques are placed low in the garden area and commemorate individuals who devoted many years of service to St. James.  The two shown here remember Pr. Bartus and Ernestine Martin.

On the other side of the sanctuary (east side) we have a beautiful patio area where we often have coffee hour, various congregational get-togethers and celebrations.
